Captain Mark Martin

Mark is internationally recognized as a leader in deep ocean search and salvage, bringing over 47 years of experience at sea. Following a highly decorated career in the U.S. Navy Special Projects and Deep Submergence Units as a Submariner, Diver and Manned Deep Submergence Vehicle Pilot Capt. Martin has enjoyed an extremely successful commercial career participating in, and leading numerous successful cutting edge and high-profile expeditions to depths of 17,000FSW. Expeditions include RMS Titanic, RMS Lusitania, Neustra Senora de las Mercedes (Black Swan), HMS Victory, SS Republic, Marquise de la Tornay, SS Pulaski, positive identification of numerous WWI & WWII U-Boats and warships, and sensitive deep ocean recoveries for the U.S. Government, as well as many others. Mark also has extensive experience in the Offshore Energy Sector as an ROV Supervisor/Superintendent and Offshore Construction Manager. Capt. Martin has been featured in several National Geographic documentaries and the Discovery Channel television series TREASURE QUEST and EXPEDITION UNKNOWN. Mark and Neil have worked closely together for most of the past 18 years.
